Many of our staff members have been with MayView for many years – a reflection of their dedication and passion for the patients and families we serve and the services we provide.

Executive Team


Kenneth D. Graham, FACHE, Interim CEO

Kenneth D. Graham, FACHE has served as CEO at sophisticated hospitals and as a board member or advisor to dozens of healthcare organizations. Graham holds a B.S in Public Health and a Masters of Public Health both from UCLA. He is professionally certified in certified in healthcare administration (FACHE) and also in medical record administration (RHIA). Previously Graham served as President at North Hawaii Community Hospital (NHCH), a recent (2014) Affiliate of The Queen’s Health Systems (QHS) on the big Island of Hawaii. Starting in January 2014, he served as Interim President at NHCH. Beginning in January 2015, he then served as President of the hospital until August 2016, and further as NHCH System Integration Advisor until October 2016.

From 2012 to 2014 Graham served in Honolulu as QHS System Integration Advisor in support of The Queen’s Health Systems senior leadership with emphasis on their efforts to acquired, redesigned, and re-activated a shuttered hospital that then became the very success The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu. Graham is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of El Camino Hospital, a 442 bed, district owned not-for-profit hospital located on two campuses in the heart of Silicon Valley from August 2006 to July 2011. El Camino Hospital consistently received national recognition for quality healthcare and innovation, including being named one of the nation’s “Most Wired” and “The most technologically advanced hospital in the world” by Popular Science Magazine in December 2009. Previously he served as:

– CEO at Overlake Hospital Medical Center (337-beds) (1994-2006) in Bellevue, Washington; Various senior executive positions with the Daughters of Charity Health System – West (2400 beds) (1983-1994) from their regional office in Los Altos Hills, CA and as President of their Saint Louise Hospital in Morgan Hill, CA (1990-1994);

– Associate Administrator at Grossmont District Hospital (426-beds) (1973-1983) in La Mesa (San Diego); and

– Assistant Executive Director at Long Beach Community Hospital (350-beds) (1970-1973), Long Beach, CA.

– In 2010, he was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to serve on the California Healthcare Policy and Data Commission.

Volunteer service includes Board member of RotaCare Free Clinics overseeing 18 free clinics in 4 states; Co-Chair of Consumer Engagement Task Force for the California Health Information Association; Palo Alto – University Rotary Club Civil Discourse project; Mentor UCLA Fielding School of Public Health MHA Graduate Student program.

Ashley Peil, Director Of Finance 

Ashley is responsible for MayView’s revenue cycle management (billing), budget, accounting, financial reporting, IT support, front desk staff, payroll, and facilities. After graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics, Ashley worked as a Health Care Consultant for Triage, a leading hospital review firm. During her time as a consultant, Ashley worked to uncover and solve process inefficiencies within major healthcare institutions throughout the U.S. She specializes in Revenue Cycle Management and Healthcare Policy/Data analysis.

Charlene Gliniecki, Human Resources Director

Charlene is responsible for MayView’s staff recruitment, retention, employee relations, compensation and benefits, education and training and internal communications. Most recently she was Chief Human Resources Officer for 12 years at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View, California. Prior positions during her 26 years at El Camino Hospital included Director of Employee Health and Safety and Manager of Employee Health Service where she was the first nurse practitioner at the hospital and established a nurse practitioner employee health clinic. Previous positions included Assistant Clinical Professor in the Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing Program, UCSF, Research Associate, Environmental Health Associates, Berkeley, CA. Until recently she serves as Assistant Clinical Professor, non-salaried, UCSF School of Nursing. She received a MSN from UCSF, BSN from Michigan State University and holds a current California RN license, Nurse Practitioner certification with furnishing number.

Catherine (Kitty) Benedict, Director of Compliance and Quality

Catherine (Kitty) Benedict has extensive experience in healthcare administration, regulatory compliance and corporate compliance. In the early 2000s, as Associate Administrator for Chinese Community Health Plan in San Francisco, she developed the first compliance program, Code of Conduct and compliance training for the health plan. From 2006-2011, she worked in corporate compliance at Blue Shield of California where she developed the annual compliance training for employees as well as implemented the first company-wide compliance and ethics survey. For the past 5 years, Kitty has worked as the Compliance Officer at Ravenswood Family Health Center in East Palo Alto and for the City and County of San Francisco.  

Kristen Brunk, Executive Assistant

Kristen Brunk primarily provides direct support to the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Finance, HR, Compliance and Medical Director.  Additionally, she manages and coordinates the board of directors and board committee meetings.  Kristen has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration from California State University, Chico.
