Shamima Hasan, Chief Executive Officer

Shamima joined MayView in January 2008. A results-oriented leader highly skilled in leading teams motivated to work together to reach common goals, she has 25 years of proven management accomplishments working within civil society, non profit and government sectors. She has a Masters in Economics majoring in Demography and Banking and a Masters in Rural Social Development majoring in Organizational Management from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. With an ability to establish trust and rapport with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, Shamima is an effective problem solver with a verifiable track record of delivering favorable results.

Before jointing MayView, Shamima worked as a consultant at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation for their Global Grant Making program. Before that, she worked as a Programme Manager for the International Planned Parenthood Federation for 10 years in the East/Southeast Asia and Oceania Regional Office in Malaysia, covering 27 countries.
