Despite residing in one of the most affluent areas in California, many of our patients have difficulty accessing medical services. They are the working and non-working poor, often employed in service industries that pay low wages and offer no health insurance. Most of them face language barriers, and their low incomes also limit their transportation choices. If MayView’s clinics were not here to serve them, many of these people would never get good healthcare.

Only 42% of MayView’s funding comes from program revenues, including Medicare, Medi-Cal, and patient fees. That means we rely on public and private grants, corporations, and individuals to ensure that we can continue to provide affordable healthcare to everyone in our community who wants it.
